Imagine a river bed, full of rocks… not just any rocks though, diamonds! Our microdermabrasion device is just like this dreamy riverbed we just drew a picture of in your mind.
It offers a wet/dry treatment by using strategically applied topical products, a diamond tip to mechanically exfoliate and gentle vacuum suction.
The topical products include brighteners, peptides, repairing botanicals and an alpha-hydroxy acid to gently chemically exfoliate the skin.
A wet/dry microdermabrasion treatment ensures that the skins barrier remains in tact by introducing moisture during the treatment, while also delivering a pleasant, but thorough deep clean and polished effect to the skin.
Such outcomes can increase skin cell turnover and furthermore, slow down pre-mature aging by improving the appearance of pores, superficial scars, pigment, texture and tone.
Wet/dry microdermabrasion is a form of mechanical and chemical exfoliation combined. It lightly buffs and vacuums away surface level skin cells, allowing new, younger cells to shine through. After this treatment, your skin will be looking like a professionally and freshly clean, polished diamond!

Dermaplaning treatment includes:

Dermaplaning entails feathering a sterile surgical scalpel along the outer most part of the skin. This process exfoliates dead skin cells, peach fuzz (fine hairs), build-up and debris revealing smooth, glowing and refreshed skin.
Results can be enjoyed for 3 weeks. Return visits are encouraged as the vellus hair, or peach fuzz begins to grow back and the skin cell turn over cycles continue.
Dermaplaning can be a standalone, customized facial complete with a calming mask and finishing products for $150 (60 minutes) or it can be an add-on to the Streamline, Diamond River Rock or Estuary Essentials Facials for $50 additionally (30 additional minutes added to facial service).

Micro-needling treatment includes:

Micro-needling stimulates our bodies natural healing response by creating controlled, micro-channels (these are essentially micro-injuries) within the skins surface and sub-dermal layers.
This process awakens the regenerative properties and encourages increased elastin and collagen production. Collagen is what makes our skin tight, however, by age 30 it is possible for our bodies to lose up to 1% of collagen a year.
Intrinsic and extrinsic factors, along with general aging all play a role in collagen depletion so micro-needling is brilliant in inciting our own body to heal itself and create new collagen-rich tissue in the process.Please expect 5-7 days of downtime post-treatment. Redness varies. A home-care hyaluronic acid product will be required in addition the treatment cost to ensure optimal healing and results.

Born and raised in the Eastern Sierra of California, I bring small-town charm and big-city experience to every interaction with clients. While obtaining my associate’s degree from Ventura College, I managed high-end salons and spas in quaint beach locations as well as at The Four Seasons in Westlake Village.
After moving to Washington, I saw the world of beauty and medicine come together and this is when I found my true career calling. I continued my education and completed my Master Aesthetician Licensing, graduating as class Valedictorian.
I now have 17 years of experience and knowledge and welcome that there’s always room to learn and grow more in this ever-changing industry.
My most recent certification is in Oncology skincare. After seeing chemotherapy and radiation wreak havoc on my dad’s skin, I saw even more importance for advanced skincare education.

I truly believe that it is possible to hone in on a space where an Eastern and Western medicine approach to skin health can come together in harmony - at Elke’s Estuary, we wish to be that space.
It is a rarity that this balanced approach exists in our industry. You’ll often see only one of these stances in skin care like a strict “all natural” approach or medical-grade products and treatments only. So why not have the best of both worlds, in one place?
Hence the name Elke’s Estuary. An estuary paints a picture of a place where natural water mixes with saltwater seamlessly- let’s now view this as natural water = all natural-based offerings, where saltwater stands for the medical-grade offerings.
These elements together are the perfect example of where true transformation occurs because of the perfect balance present. Nature is the birthplace of medicine, after all, so we cannot devalue traditional ingredients when this is where the possibility of medical-grade products originated.
My goal is to harness the greatness of natural-based offerings and medical for the ultimate internal and external holistic approach.
